A Tale of Two Zip Codes
The surprising truth is that two adjacent communities can have as much as a fifteen-year difference in their average life expectancy.
Some people may attribute this gap to factors like drugs and violence (we did, at first). But the true causes of the dramatic difference in age expectancy are actually much more sinister: heart disease, obesity, and diabetes — all of which can be linked to Chronic Stress, which stems directly from economic inequality.
We partnered with the California Endowment to raise awareness on this issue, and we hope you learn as much from the four-minute video as we did in the fifteen years it took us to make it!
