The Loop Lab hosted its inaugural fundraising event, Loop Dreams, to support their mission of opening doors for underrepresented communities in the media arts world. We worked with their team closely as creative partners to shape the event's visual identity—something fresh, inviting, and a little dreamy. We wanted to capture the passion and inspiration of the event's mission where people could come together, celebrate, and support a vital cause.
The event's identity needed to not only callback to The Loop Lab's branding, but it also needed to evoke a sense of wonder and excitement for the evening's festivities. We pulled in the signature yellow from the organization's brand colors while introducing new shades of purple and orange to create a vibrant energy in the design.
The logo incorporates a light, slightly curvy feeling to tie in with the soft, flowing gradients shown throughout the event branding materials. Across all materials, we kept the heading font in the same spirit—clean and easy to ready, but with just enough character to contribute to the overall dreamy atmosphere. We made sure to design the graphic elements carefully so that they enhance the design rather than take away from it.
The event used a combination of print and digital designs to create a cohesive identity shown in the online promotions, physical signage, and ambient animations on display at the event.
We designed printed informational materials for the evening's celebrations for attendees to reference throughout the performances including the event booklet, invitation card, donation form, and table tent card. The digital materials created the dreamy atmosphere for the backdrop of the event with animated logos, gobo light stencils, student testimonies, social media content, and website assets for the donation page.
Each deliverable was carefully crafted to ensure the color palette, typography, and layout work seamlessly together across different formats.
