Bai believed differentiation would come from artistry and craft. Over four years, Black Math worked as a deeply embedded creative partner, bringing artists to the center of the brand and shaping bold, idea-driven work with cultural impact.
Our work with Bai was built through partnership. Each project began with range finding, exploring visual metaphors, styles, and production approaches together with Bai’s internal creative team. Working as one unit allowed the brand voice to evolve in real time, resulting in work that felt confident, expressive, and cohesive across executions.
The work was intentionally made, not overly polished. You can see the hands of the creatives in every campaign, from practical builds and tactile materials to stylized sets and restrained animation. By working lean and staying close to the making, the work found a balance between craft and speed, favoring ideas that felt fun, human, and immediate.
Over four years, the partnership delivered five major campaigns, including national broadcast work, helping Bai compete visually with far larger beverage brands. The brand was named BevNET’s 2016 Brand of the Year, with award-winning campaigns that helped establish Bai’s cultural presence at scale.
