Chime was at a moment of visual transition. As the brand moved beyond a primarily illustrative identity, we explored a more dimensional, spatial expression, turning a multi-platform social campaign into Chime’s first step toward a cohesive 3D brand system.

Art First

Chime entered 3D without existing guidelines or a material language, giving us a rare opportunity to explore range. Early look development focused on form, materiality, texture, lighting, and motion, testing how far the brand could stretch while staying true to its approachable roots.

We defined a premium yet playful 3D language that set Chime apart while maintaining category-level craft.

A Campaign Built to Flex

Black Math created a multi-platform social campaign spanning over 80 assets, including seven core videos, all designed to feel cohesive across screens and formats.

In parallel, we built a reusable library of 3D animated icons to support consistency across social, product, and future brand expressions. Operating in a highly regulated category means extended compliance review periods, so we wanted to ensure the value of our work wasn’t tied to a single launch moment.
