As artists working closely with brands and creators in the NFT space, Black Math understood the need for decentralized access to content. That shared perspective made us a natural partner for Darkblock, working with the early-stage startup to shape nearly every aspect of its identity: from brand & product story to pitch materials, web/app design, social content, and swag.
When NFTs gained adoption, many platforms focused on ownership while overlooking utility. We approached the problem from an artist’s point of view: exploring how access, unlockables, and evolving experiences could be expressed visually and narratively.
Through early visual studies, motion experiments, and storytelling frameworks, Black Math helped shape a creative foundation that could guide both the brand and the product story without compromising the core principles of Web3.
