UX/UI Strategy

For over a decade, Black Math has partnered with Meta to help early ideas take shape. Long before products are fully defined, we use creative tools and craft to make abstract concepts tangible, giving teams something real to react to, align around, and build toward. Across product, wearables, and spatial platforms, our role stays consistent: bringing clarity, taste, and momentum to complex, emerging work.

Inside an organization like Meta, creativity isn’t about executing a brief. It’s about shaping the idea and helping others see its value. The most effective creative partnerships understand that from the start.
We entered Meta through the AR Art organization as makers. Over time, our perspective shifted. We stopped focusing only on what we were producing and started asking why it mattered — to the product, to the user, to the company.
That’s when the work improved, the work expanded, and our role became clear: we weren’t just making things, we were helping define product vision.

We operate between disciplines. By working seamlessly across art, product design, and engineering, we turn early, abstract thinking into experiences that make ideas real enough for teams to evaluate, refine, and align around.
Our creative judgment is what makes that possible. When the intent behind something starts to blur, we stop and interrogate it. We sketch, prototype, and iterate until the idea is sharp again and everyone can move forward.

Our work with Meta reflects a shift toward more human, intuitive technology, helping visualize and define emerging experiences as computing moves closer to the body, becomes less visible, and more seamlessly embedded in everyday life.
