Boston Family Days
Campaign Brand & Asset Package
Black Math was lucky enough to partner with the City of Boston (again!) to create a series of print materials for their upcoming "Boston Family Days" summer program. Including a map, passport, and icon sets, this event package highlights some of the most iconic landmarks of our city, and acts as an at-a-glance guide through the city's world-class cultural institutions for families and students to visit during a series of free admission dates.

Map Design
The map is the key component of the event package. It needed to accurately show all locations to help anyone (from parents to young adults) plan their travel as well as highlight the city's neighborhoods to spark excitement in young children who want to play the very important role of "Keeper of the Map"... AKA playing keep away.
We designed the double-sided trifold layout to show the main locations in one zoomed-in overview of Downtown Boston on the front side while expanding to the Greater Boston area to show the additional locations on the back side. Both views include decorative icons that nod to some of the landscape as well as unique activities offered through the city, like the Duck Boat tours or kayaking on the Charles River.

Passport Design
Last but not least, we have the passport! We wanted to give a little extra motivation for visitors to explore all locations by capturing the memory with a custom stamp at each institution. We made sure to stick to the established color palette and incorporate the icons to make sure the entire package felt cohesive.
